Text Box: Advantage Objective/ Goal

Our objectives/ goals at Advantage are to provide our athletes with an affordable off-ice conditioning program in an inviting, positive environment. Our complete off-ice conditioning program is derived around exercises that develop all the necessary on-ice movement skills and energy systems required for on-ice success. We strive to use the latest conditioning techniques and equipment in order to reach these goals safely free of injury.

Text Box: Where’s the Advantage?

The nature of hockey requires players to have multi-directional movement coordination, full body strength & balance in order to succeed. Therefore at each Advantage session, our athletes will condition and develop their primary fitness components (cardio respiratory, flexibility, muscular strength & endurance); however, our athletes will also train and develop their much ignored secondary fitness components (speed, agility, quickness, reaction & balance). All our exercises are created and designed to maximize hockey development and court to ice transfer. Our program also includes many position specific exercises.
